Wuhan Granuo Intelligent Robot Co., Ltd. was founded in February 2025, jointly established by Wuhan Granuo Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and the team of Academician Chen Xuedong. The team has successively undertaken multiple 863 Program robotics R&D projects, and boasts industry-leading core technologies including quasi-direct-drive electric joints and high-dynamic drive control, with over 60 intellectual property rights. As a "chain-leading enterprise" in Hubei Province, the company leads the technical research and development of full humanoid robots, and has launched the world's first dual-arm high-load humanoid robot with a payload of over 50kg. Focusing on robot hardware development and scenario-based implementation, the company has built a full-series "Laborer" robot family covering 1.3m, 1.7m, 1.9m humanoid, wheeled and quadruped robots, which have been widely applied in fields such as electric power and energy, hazardous chemical emergency response, municipal engineering, science education and cultural tourism.
